I felt that the ending was a bit rushed, the critical turning point happening about three pages before the end, meaning that some of the insignificant bits earlier in the book could have contributed to the crucial ending that seemed to be over before it had begun. I guess I was expecting Cabot to go into a bit more detail of who Arthur, Lancelot and so on were, but it seemed quite bare, like she just wanted to focus on Will and Ellie, in which case I don't think there was much point in adding in the historical aspects. As it turns out, the characters in the story are all reincarnations of King Arthur and other residents of Camelot come back to present day.
